What types of LED lights does Empire Floor carry?

We carry four types — 4" Slim Recessed Panel Light, 6" Slim Recessed Panel Light, 2×2 Ultra Thin LED Flat Panel, and 2×4 Ultra Thin LED Flat Panel. All are dimmable and available in multiple color temperatures.
What does CCT mean and which options are available?

CCT stands for Correlated Color Temperature — it determines how warm or cool the light appears. Our pot lights (4" and 6") come in 5CCT: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K. Our flat panel lights come in 3CCT: 3000K, 4000K, and 5000K.
Are these lights dimmable?

Yes. All four of our LED light products are fully dimmable. A compatible dimmer switch is required for dimming functionality.
What is the lifespan of these lights?

The 4" and 6" pot lights have a rated lifespan of 50,000 hours. The 2×2 and 2×4 flat panel lights come with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
What voltage do these lights require?

All our LED lights operate on AC 100–130V for pot lights and AC 100–277V for flat panel lights, making them fully compatible with standard Canadian electrical systems.
How much energy do these lights consume?

The 4" pot light uses 9W, the 6" pot light uses 12W. The 2×2 flat panel is available in 20W, 30W, or 40W and the 2×4 flat panel in 30W, 40W, or 50W — all significantly more energy efficient than traditional fluorescent or incandescent fixtures.
What size ceiling cutout is required for the pot lights?

The 4" pot light requires a 4 inch ceiling cutout and the 6" pot light requires a 6 inch cutout. They are designed to fit standard recessed housing openings.
Are the flat panel lights suitable for drop ceilings?

Yes. The 2×2 and 2×4 flat panel lights are designed to fit standard commercial drop ceiling grids, making them ideal for offices, retail spaces, basements, and commercial environments.
Can these lights be used in kitchens and bathrooms?

The pot lights are suitable for kitchen use. For bathroom installation please confirm the IP rating with our team before purchasing as wet area installations have specific safety requirements.
